30 Rock è una sit-com statunitense scritta e interpretata da Tina Fey e vincitrice di numerosi premi, tra cui tre Emmy consecutivi come miglior serie comica.
La serie va in onda sulla rete NBC dall’11 ottobre 2006 e segue le vicende del dietro le quinte del The Girlie Show, un finzionale show comico dal vivo, che si ispira all’esperienza della Fey come autrice del Saturday Night Live.
Il nome 30 Rock si riferisce al luogo in cui si trova il GE Building, sede degli studi televisivi della NBC, al numero 30 della “Rockefeller Plaza” a New York.
La sit-com, le cui riprese si svolgono principalmente ai Silvercup Studios di Long Island City, nel Queens, New York, con alcune sequenze girate in loco al Rockefeller Center, è prodotta dalla Broadway Video e dalla Little Stranger, Inc., in collaborazione con la NBC Universal.
